Slow going. . . . . . the scale is sort of stuck (stupid scale :) )
I feel like I did well tracking my food and stayed under 1350 cals all but 1 day.
I've been up and down so much my weight doesn't budge much at first- it takes awhile to see if this is for real. I also upped my activity and exercise this week, biking, aerobics etc. I could be building some muscle.
I lost .6 lb this week.
Hoping for a big loss next week.
Each week I'll highlight one food I've been eating.
This week it's a smoothie in the afternoon. I start with a can of Diet Mt. Dew- put it in the blender and add 1 cup frozen strawberries( I use the frozen strawberries from Sam's Club) and either some yogurt or skim milk. Blend it all up and it makes a very large afternoon pick-me-up, especially on these hot days.

Weigh-In Wednesday
This is not a typical week since my start date was Monday and it is only Wednesday, hence only 2 days into this.
I'm down 2.8 lbs. I'm happy with that but the first 5-7 lbs have been there and then not there for awhile now.
I'm trying to follow a low fat, low carb, clean eating plan(as much as possible). The carbs I do eat are whole grains, fruits and vegetables and dairy products- and very little sugar. I eventually would like to wean myself from the artifical sweetners, mostly in my coffee and added to smoothies.
Last night after leaving Wild Water West we went to Texas Roadhouse for supper. That was a real test of my will power :)

Where to Start?
Anybody who knows me at all knows that I have struggled with my weight most of my married life. I've been up and down a lot of pounds in all those years.
The picture I had taken at the airport with Tyler last week was the absolute heaviest I ever want to be!! (Although I weighed about 5 lbs more than this some time ago- GAAA!!)
So the journey begins for the 10,386th time in the last 30 yrs :)
This time I going to be accountable to myself and whoever reads this blog by posting my weight loss(gain) weekly on this blog. I'll also post any new ideas, foods etc. that I find are working for me, along with things I am struggling with.
I am tracking my food and exercise/activity on My Fitness Pal. I highly recommend it. My daily calorie limit is 1320.
For now, my goal is to lose 70 lbs from where I am today. I'm going to break that down into smaller 10 lb mini goals since 70 lbs sounds like waaaay to much work.
My weigh-in day will be Wednesday.
First Mini Goal- 10 lb loss by Oct. 3.
